In June of 2026, we are thrilled to announce the launch of our new First Congregational Church of Naples Scholarship Program. This faith-centered initiative supports our young people's educational dreams while nurturing their spiritual growth.
At First Congregational Church of Naples, we believe that investing in the next generation is one of the most powerful ways to live out our mission to “train up a child in the way he should go” (Proverbs 22:6). This scholarship program reflects our commitment to easing financial barriers so that deserving students can pursue higher education, vocational training, or ministry preparation without cost being a hindrance.
Program Highlights:
• Awards: Scholarships ranging from $500 and greater per academic year.
• Eligibility:
-The student must be a regular, active member of First Congregational Church of Naples for at least 6 months before the application deadline. “Active” means regular worship attendance and participation in church life (e.g., small groups, ministry teams, or youth programs).
- Be a current high school senior (expected to graduate in the current academic year) or a student who graduated from high school within the last 12 months.
- An individual who has earned their General Educational Development (GED) within the last 12 months.
- Be a previous recipient of this scholarship seeking renewal, provided they still meet eligibility standards.
- Be enrolled or preparing to be enrolled in a full-time program at an accredited college, university, community college, technical or vocational school, or seminary.
- Submit a completed application, including a personal faith statement or an essay explaining how their education aligns with Christian values and future goals.
- Priority may be given to applicants who demonstrate leadership or service in the church or community, or who have a calling to ministry or to vocational Christian service.
• Selection Criteria: Active church membership, extracurricular involvement, and a personal faith testimony.
• Application Deadline: July 1, 2026, for the upcoming academic year.
We encourage all eligible students to apply. Detailed information, eligibility requirements, and the official application form are available on the church website or by contacting the church office.
This program is made possible by the generous support of our congregation and dedicated donors. We give thanks to God for providing the resources to bless our youth, and we invite you to join us in prayer for the students who will benefit
from these scholarships.
If you have any questions or would like to contribute to the First Congregational Church Scholarship Fund, please reach out to the church office. May the Lord continue to guide and bless our church family as we invest in the leaders of tomorrow.
